"Very close to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle, Austrian border is near I had a very roomy suite, with living room, bedroom, bathroom and a balcony. Lots of storage space, including a refrigerator and a safe. The only point of criticism is that the mattress was way too soft for me. I'm 1.96m tall and 100 kg, so most hotels don't seem to know how to handle that. The breakfast is typical Bavarian: excellent quality and lots of it. For every taste something. Enough parking space around the hotel/restaurant. The price was also unbeatable: 4 nights for under €350,-"

"We stumbled upon this hotel on our travel. We had planned it to just be a bed for the night. We stayed for 2 and wish we could have stayed longer. It is simple, and on a main road. But it was just lovely. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The only thing missing was a fan for the hot nights. To be fair though, we didn't ask for one. The hotel is surrounded by farm land, which was a lovely relaxing back drop. The bike path into Fussen was brilliant. Access to there and the castle was ideal. The restaurant is a real bonus. At night as a pizzeria, they served quality food and wine at reasonable prices. And the breakfast buffet in the morning ad part of your stay was truly lovely. The scrambled eggs are a stand out! Value for money, ambience and comfort, I highly recommend this hotel."

"Excellent hotel, about 10 minute drive from Neuschwanstein Castle. When we checked in, we were told that the rate includes breakfast (I didn't notice it when booking). We asked if there are vegan options and got the expected reply that there are some limited options. Nothing unexpected. However, when we arrived the breakfast area the next day, the same person who checked us in the previous night brought us a special plate of vegan ham and vegan cheese. What a service! I will not be surprised if someone went to the supermarket just to buy this for us. In general, the breakfast was great even without the extra options. A wide selection of fresh bread, vegetables, fruit, cereals and granola, excellent coffee and juice. Highly recommended. This is a place that goes above and beyond for its guests. I think it is worth you check it out."

"We spend one night here and the room was good. Nice bed, bathroom was fine. Staff was very friendly. The only thing, for me, was that it was way to warm in the breakfast area with all the windows closed. This place has 4 chargepoints which is ver convient. They should maybe have a sign stating that these places are for electrical cars. We’ll be back sometime :-)"

This charming guesthouse with an Italian-themed restaurant is a true hidden gem in the area. The pizza? Incredible! Crispy crust, fresh Italian ingredients, and perfectly balanced flavors – a true culinary experience. We also tried other dishes and honestly, everything was just amazing. The staff? Outstanding! Warm, smiling, and helpful – the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed. We felt right at home. As for the accommodation – the rooms are clean, cozy, and very comfortable, perfect for resting after a day exploring the nearby castle. Casa Maria completely won us over, and we’ll definitely return. If you love great food, an Italian vibe, and friendly service, this is the place to be! "We went here for dinner after seeing the Neuschwantein Castle. The place is very beautiful and nice ambience. The staff are also very accomodating. The food was okay, decent serving and the owner is very kind. What's beautiful about this place is it is within highway and accessible if you're craving for Italian food while on the road."

"Living like home....I had the privilege to stay, and eat, at this place for two weeks and didn't really want to leave: The room (one of the suites) was amazingly spacious and comfortable with a very comfortable bed, equally enjoyable sleeper couch, a study table, another table to sit down and eat or read, a fridge, plenty of storage and a spacious bathroom. The service from everyone, starting with the owners, was throughout amazing, making me really feel home. And then the food! The breakfast buffett is sufficient, a second coffee machine might help avoid those long queues in the morning, but the Itlaian food served in the restaurant! Best ever! The pizzas, the pasta - every single meal was a delicious feast."
